Be careful not to fall into the trap of using coupons on items you wouldn’t normally buy because you are excited to use coupons. That’s when the manufacturers win the coupon game and not you!

This gem for a free McDonald’s Mocha and a small cookie was found on the back of a package of ground coffee. I found the bag of coffee on the discount shelf at Sobeys and brought it home very proud of scoring the coffee for 3.99. At home as I was putting it away I found the coupon printed in the back of the package. Score ☕️ 🍪
I have also found coupons on the packages of cereal, yogurt, and granola bars.
Take time to look at packaging before you throw it away, it may save you some money.
