I love being cheap! Our laundry basket died a slow painful death, taking two years of wire and duct tape to finally die. I could go out and spend $10 on a new one, or I could repurpose things that we already have in the house.
You know how Tupperware lids go missing? Somehow our house also looses lids to Rubbermaid containers. Since the death of the laundry basket we have been using this tote and it is working well. We don’t have any desire to go out and get a new laundry basket this is working just fine, and it gave life to an other wise useless item laying around our house.
